Major clastic sedimentary environments (yellow). The three major depositional environments (Level 1) are continental (non-marine), mixed (marine to non-marine or coastal setting), and marine (submarine). Each of these deposits has a characteristic set of processes and resulting deposits which form different reservoir types. Further subdivision is shown in figures 1-20, 1-21 and 1-22.
