Ethics-in-Practice Scenarios
These scenarios were written to prepare students to face the type of ethical dilemmas they will experience when they enter the criminal justice world. There are rarely black-and-white answers to the problems that arise in the criminal justice professions; there is much gray area. The "points to consider" are not intended to be exhaustive answers to the scenarios. It is hoped that by working through and discussing the scenarios, students will come away with the necessary tools and wisdom to respond appropriately to their own ethical dilemmas.
