Professor Yoshinobu Tanaka obtained a PhD in Chemical Engineering at the University of Tokyo, Japan. He established IEM Research. He is member of the Japan Association of Ion Exchange, and of the Society of Sea Water Science in Japan. The Society of Sea Water Science in Japan awarded him with the Science Prize, and the Japan Association of Ion Exchange awarded him with the Achievement Prize. He published 4 other books with international scientific publishers such as Elsevier, Springer and Wiley, and published over 50 papers in international scientific journals such as Journal of Membrane Science, Membrane Water Treatment, and Desalination.
