About the Author
Colin G. Scanes is Professor of Biological Science / Collaborator professor at Iowa State University (Collaborator professor) and Adjunct professor at Mississippi State University. He has held positions in animal science for three decades and has taught anatomy and physiology courses to undergraduate and graduate students. He has edited and contributed to multiple scientific books and journal articles and been a member of the Editorial Boards for several journals, including Domestic Animal Endocrinology, The Journal of Experimental Zoology, Proceedings for the Society of Experimental Biology, Animal Biotechnology, General and Comparative Endocrinology, and Critical Reviews in Poultry Biology.
