About the Authors

The first author: Qun Zhang


Prof. Qun Zhang received an M.S. degree in mathematics from Shaanxi Normal University, Xi’an, China, in 1988 and a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Xidian University, Xi’an, in 2001. He worked as a Research Engineer from 2001 to 2003 and a Research Fellow from 2005 to 2006 with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National University of Singapore, Singapore. He is currently a Professor with the Institute of Information and Navigation, Air Force Engineering University, Xi’an, and an Adjunct Professor with the Key Laboratory for Information Science of Electromagnetic Waves (Ministry of Education), Fudan University, Shanghai, China. He is a senior member of the IEEE, a senior member of the Chinese Institute of Electronics (CIE), a committee member of the Radiolocation Techniques Branch, CIE, and a member of the Signal Processing Council of Shaanxi, China. He has authored over 200 papers published in academic journals and presented at conferences. His main research interests include radar signal processing, radar target recognition, and information confrontation.

The second author: Ying Luo


Dr. Ying Luo received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Air Force Engineering University (AFEU), Xi’an, China, in 2008 and 2013 respectively. He is currently working at the National Lab of Radar Signal Processing, Xidian University as a Postdoctoral Fellow and also is an Adjunct Research Fellow with the Key Laboratory for Information Science of Electromagnetic Waves (Ministry of Education), Fudan University, Shanghai, China. He is a member of the IEEE and the Chinese Institute of Electronics (CIE). He has authored over 60 papers published in academic journals and presented at conferences. His research interests include signal processing and auto target recognition (ATR) in SAR and ISAR.

The third author: Yong-an Chen


Yong-an Chen was born in Hunan, China, in 1994. He is currently working towards an M.S. degree in electrical engineering at the Institute of Information and Navigation, Air Force Engineering University, Xi’an, China. He has authored and co-authored about 10 papers published in academic in journals and presented at conferences. His research interests include signal processing in SAR and ISAR.
