Table 7 Notes : Russian Manufacturers

There are two separate Russian civil aircraft manufacturers shown in the tables.

The Il-86 is a four-engined medium (2000nm) range, wide-bodied aircraft carrying up to 350 passengers. The Il-96 is a newer version of the aircraft. Like its predecessor it has four engines and a wide body configuration. It carries 300 passenger (tourist class) over a range of 4000nm. This aircraft has subsequently been developed to create the Il-96M which includes western engines and avionics. The Tupolev company produces the TU134 and the TU154 which first flew in 1968. The TU154 is a three-engined medium range (2000nm), medium capacity (max. 180 seats) aircraft. The current production variant (TU154M) includes uprated engines and revised systems, the airframe staying essentially unchanged from that of the original design. TU204-200 has been introduced to replace the TU154. It is a twin Rolls Royce engined aircraft with 1500 to 3000nm range for 190 passengers in three class accommodation. The smaller feeder liner TU334-100 carries up to 102 tourist class passengers over about 1000m range.
